“Jaclyn B. Smith Honored as Barristers President”

On February 5, 2015, at the San Mateo County Bar Association Annual Installation Reception and Meeting, Jaclyn B. Smith, Senior Associate Attorney here at McDowall Cotter, was sworn in as this year’s President of the San Mateo County Bar Association, Barristers’ Section.

The Barristers is an organization of new lawyers committed to professional growth, community service and serving as an advocate for its members.

Jaclyn’s primary area of practice is wealth preservation, asset protection, trust and estate administration and entity formation (LLCs, Corporations and Non-Profit Organizations).  Her clients are individuals, families, trustees, employers and small business owners.  Jaclyn is a member of the State Bar of California and has sat on the Board of Directors for the San Mateo County Bar Association, Barrister’s Section for the last 5 years.  She is also an active participant in the San Mateo County Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section.
